PROJECT: ThisIsAntwon (YouTube)

ThisIsAntwon is a fashion influencer at the cutting edge of modern alternative style, techwear and consumer discourse. As many influencers and content creators seek to take their content to the next level, custom music was something that intrigued him greatly.

He tasked me with creating a bespoke album of music that could sit comfortably behind video narration and encapsulate the diverse aesthetic that the channel and content encapsulates: influences from early Jungle, Drum & Bass and Lo-Fi Hip-Hop to found sounds, degraded samples and even the retro vibes of the Playstation 1 & 2.

With this in mind, I took the influences and made a bespoke genre that would specifically fit the aesthetic he had in mind, producing the songs so that the frequency of the human voice can rise clearly above the tracks without clashing or competing for attention. The tracks are enjoyed by Antwon and his community and frequently listened to outside of his regular content.
